Regular descaling helps keep your TS3 steaming well and extends the lifespan of the device.</p></div><div class="help_center_instructions"><h2 id="when-should-you-descale-the-ts3-steam-cleaner">When should you descale the TS3 Steam Cleaner?</h2><ul class="bullet-list"><li><span class="bullet-title">Do you use tap water?</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Then descale the steam cleaner once a month.</span></li><li><span class="bullet-title">Do you use demineralised or distilled water?</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Then limescale forms less quickly, but we still recommend checking the device regularly and descaling preventively when the steam becomes less powerful.</span></li><li><span class="bullet-title">Notice the steam weakening or coming out intermittently?</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Then it&apos;s time for a descaling session.</span></li></ul></div><div class="help_center_instructions"><h2 id="how-to-descale-the-ts3-steam-cleaner">How to descale the TS3 Steam Cleaner</h2><dl><dt>1. Turn off the steam cleaner and let it cool down completely</dt><dd>Make sure the TS3 is off, the plug is unplugged and the device has cooled down completely before you start descaling.</dd><dt>2. Open the water tank</dt><dd>Unscrew the water tank cap. Is there still water in the tank? Then pour it out completely into the sink.</dd><dt>3. Add the Techweise descaler</dt><dd>Put one full sachet of Techweise descaler into the water tank. Only use the official Techweise descaler. Other agents can affect internal components or void the warranty.</dd><dt>4. Fill the water tank with water</dt><dd>Then fill the water tank with clean water up to the maximum level. Don&apos;t fill the tank beyond the maximum capacity of 2500 ml.</dd><dt>5. Let the mixture soak for 2 hours</dt><dd>Let the descaling mixture sit in the water tank for 2 hours. Don&apos;t switch on the device during this step. This way the descaler has time to loosen limescale and mineral residue.</dd><dt>6. Empty the water tank completely</dt><dd>After 2 hours, pour the descaling mixture completely out of the water tank into the sink.</dd><dt>7. Rinse the water tank well</dt><dd>Rinse the water tank well with clean water. Optionally repeat this once more so that no descaler residue remains.</dd><dt>8. With this powerful and fast steam cleaner at home, cleaning becomes much easier and more fun. Follow these simple steps to get off to a good start and become a real Steam Expert. Don&apos;t forget to always read the full manual before use.</p></div><div class="help_center_instructions"><h2 id="ready-to-start">Ready to start?</h2><p>Let&apos;s prepare the steam cleaner for use!</p><dl><dt>1. Connect the hose</dt><dd>Make sure the steam cleaner is off and the plug is not yet in the socket. Then connect the coupling hose to the front of the device and tighten the locking knob firmly. Always check that the hose is properly attached before continuing.</dd><dt>2. Fill the steam cleaner</dt><dd>Unscrew the water tank cap and fill the TS3 with a maximum of 2500 ml of clean water. Preferably use demineralised or distilled water. This reduces the chance of limescale buildup and keeps your steam cleaner in good condition longer. Then tighten the cap firmly back onto the water tank.<br><br>The TS3 can be refilled during use, so you can keep cleaning without interruptions.</dd><dt>3. Choose your accessory</dt><dd>Attach the accessory you want to use. Never use the steam cleaner without an accessory, as the pressure will drop and steaming becomes less effective.</dd><dt>4. Let the steam cleaner heat up</dt><dd>Plug it in and press the power button. The TS3 heats up quickly. Wait about 1 minute, until the display shows at least 100&#xB0;C. After that you can start steaming.</dd></dl></div><div class="warning"><strong>Warning:</strong> Always use the included heat-resistant glove when operating the steam gun and when disconnecting the hose.</div><div class="help_center_instructions"><h2 id="start-steaming">Start steaming!</h2><p>Now that the steam cleaner has heated up, the real work can begin. Let&apos;s start with an easy surface: the countertop.</p><dl><dt>1. First spray out the condensation water</dt><dd>Point the steam gun towards the sink first and press the trigger briefly. This sprays out any excess condensation water from the hose. This is important because otherwise you could get too much moisture on the surface or your cloth.</dd><dt>2. Use the triangle brush or white microfiber cloth</dt><dd>For a flat surface like the countertop you can use the triangle brush. Is the surface scratch-sensitive, such as an induction plate or range hood? Then rather use the white microfiber cloth. When in doubt, always test first on a small, inconspicuous spot.</dd><dt>3. Steam the surface gently clean</dt><dd>Move the steam cleaner slowly across the surface. Pay extra attention to spots with grease, sauce residue or caked-on dirt. Always keep moving though and don&apos;t keep the steam on one spot for too long.</dd><dt>4. Clean edges and seams with the jet nozzle or nylon brush</dt><dd>Use the jet nozzle or a nylon brush for edges, seams, the rim of the sink and the area around the tap. This lets you clean more precisely where dirt tends to build up.</dd><dt>5. Wipe the surface dry</dt><dd>After steaming, wipe the surface clean and dry with a clean microfiber cloth. Steam loosens dirt, but the loosened dirt still needs to be wiped away.</dd></dl><p>Your countertop doesn&apos;t just look clean, it&apos;s also hygienically cleaned by the hot steam, without chemical agents.</p></div><div class="help_center_instructions"><h2 id="which-steam-setting-do-you-use">Which steam setting do you use?</h2><p>The TS3 has a wet and a dry steam setting. This way you can better tailor the steam to what you&apos;re going to clean.</p></div><table class="custom-table compare-table"><thead><tr><th>Setting</th><th>When do you use this setting?</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td class="table-col-text compare-col-title"><div class="table-title">Wet steam</div></td><td class="table-col-text"><div class="table-description">Use this setting for thorough cleaning, for example with dirty grout or stubborn dirt. This setting releases more moisture.</div></td></tr><tr><td class="table-col-text compare-col-title"><div class="table-title">Dry steam</div></td><td class="table-col-text"><div class="table-description">Use this setting when you want less moisture, for example with floors, mattresses, sofas or more delicate surfaces. This setting is also handy when you mainly want to disinfect.</div></td></tr></tbody></table><div class="note"><strong>Does it say HOLD on the display?</strong> Don&apos;t worry. This means the heating temporarily pauses when you don&apos;t press the trigger. As soon as you press the trigger again, the TS3 continues steaming and the temperature is displayed again.</div><div class="help_center_instructions"><h2 id="important-to-remember">Important to remember</h2><ul class="bullet-list"><li><span class="bullet-title">Spray excess water out first</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Before you start steaming, it&apos;s important to briefly spray into the sink first. This removes condensation water from the hose and prevents your cloth or surface from getting too wet.</span></li><li><span class="bullet-title">Keep moving</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Never hold the steam nozzle or mop nozzle still on one spot for too long. By moving calmly, you prevent a surface from getting too much heat or moisture.</span></li><li><span class="bullet-title">Wipe immediately</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Steam loosens dirt, but you still need to wipe it away. Use a clean cloth to absorb loosened dirt and condensation moisture immediately. This prevents streaks or damp spots.</span></li><li><span class="bullet-title">Test on a small spot first</span> <span class="bullet-desc">Not entirely sure if a surface is suitable for steam?
